Bill: Attached are some pixs of this book tree to accompany a short GMR that I put in City Hold. City desk was looking for short GMRS to use. I thought this would be a quick one that they could use without too much fuss. bruce

Subject: Recyclin' Around the Christmas Tree
Dear Mr. Posten,
I understand that you work on the feature articles for the Reading Eagle. I wanted to share with you a project that I worked on at the Tulpehocken Jr./Sr. High School Library. For the holiday season this year we decided to utilize dozens of discarded library books and create a book Christmas tree. After four hours of construction and approximately three-hundred books and VHS tapes later our end result was a beautiful five foot book tree. Affectionately displayed in the library, the library aide and myself decorated the tree with white twinkle lights to add a finishing touch. Tulpehocken's 700+ students and faculty have been admiring this tree for a few weeks and I felt that it would be a nice addition to your feature article section. I have attached a few pictures of our tree for your convenience. I thank you for taking the time to read my email.
