Trapped Hawk Freed
Bonnie Bohnen-Blust from the Red Creek Wildlife Center works to free a red-tailed hawk trapped between the front bumper and radiator of a car owned by Mariah Stehle (623-341-3571) of the 200 block of West 47th Street, Exeter. Jerry Tomalis of Wyomissing, an employee of KC Towing, loosens the bumper to help free the bird. The hawk flew off, apparently uninjured, when it was freed. Photo by Bill Uhrich 2/7/2013
